Our experienced team of Night Nurses: Postpartum Doulas, Newborn Care Specialists and Registered Nurses are by your side in your first weeks and months postpartum providing comprehensive overnight newborn care, daytime postpartum support, and 24/7 in-home care.
Sufficient sleep is a vital part of postpartum healing and preventing postpartum depression and sleep deprivation. Newborn Care
We will typically arrive at your home between 8-10pm and stay in a dedicated space with your newborn for an 8-12 hour shift. They are able to handle all newborn care [diaper changes, burping, soothing, sleep conditioning, bottle feeding]. *If you are breastfeeding, they will bring the baby to you for feedings.
Parent Education
Your expert Newborn Care Specialist of Certified Postpartum Doula will offer hands-on newborn care and education. From guidance on feeding methods, to how to hold and burp your baby, to how to help you interpret your baby’s cues. Our expertise ensures that you receive the best care and support during this precious time.
Newborn Sleep
Your Night Nurse will record detailed logs during their shifts. They will track feedings, sleep patterns and observations. This valuable data can help to guide your baby into a healthy sleep routine with the goal of sleeping longer stretches at night! . *Please note that it takes booking 4+ nights per week for sleep conditioning to be effective.*
